Fall is in the air and I'm ready for it.It's one of my four favorite
seasons!Lots going on, so I'll get to it....


2. News

Book:Well I regret that I'm not going to make my self-imposed October
1st release goal for "The Sweetest & the Meanest."I'm close, however,
nothing remaining to do except a final sequencing, Library of Congress
registration, the actual printing... and the companion spoken word
recording.I'll be doing a special e-mailing when I can announce a firm
release date.

Personal news: Just going at everything at once, non-stop, full-time.
I don't recommend this approach!

Music News: I'm excited to be performing solo in England for the first
time!Thanks so John Graveling -- www.jegartistmanagement.com -- for
setting me up.

Hayley Westenra, a talented, young (just turned 18) classical artist,
has included my song "Never Saw Blue Like That" -- written with Jeff
Franzel & Mark Luna and first recorded by Shawn Colvin for the film
"Runaway Bride" -- on her new Universal Classics album "Odyssey."The
album has already been to #1 in Hayley's native New Zealand, and it was
released Sept. 26 in the UK.Her first album -- "Pure" -- was an
international hit, and Jeff, Mark & I have high hopes for "Odyssey."
Watch for a US release in the near future.

3. Drawing Board

Though "The Sweetest & the Meanest" will be available before year's
end, an early 2006 promotional campaign is being planned for the book.
And when the dust settles on fall touring and book release I'll being
planning in earnest the next album.


4. Perspective

Thanks to CD Baby, ALL artist proceeds from online CD sales of TK
albums and Sherpas albums (fromwww.tomkimmel.com , www.thesherpas.netand
www.cdbaby.com) are presently being sent directly to the American Red
Cross for Gulf Coast disaster relief.Thanks to Derek Sivers and all at
CD Baby for giving us an opportunity to help out our brothers and
sisters on the coast.
